SHIPPING

We are proud to say that all of Akua Oceanwear’s products are mailed out to your door in 100% recyclable postage satchels. What does this mean? This means by choosing to shop with Akua, you can know NO PLASTIC has been involved in any stage of manufacturing to delivery. An important contribution to the health and beauty of our oceans!

You will also receive a unique Akua re-useable bag with every purchase, accompanied by a 100% recycled swing tag, created using vegetable based ink and a wind power factory.

We offer both Australia wide and international shipping. All deliveries are done via Aus Post, including a digital tracking number for peace of mind (supplied to you upon order). We also understand that sometimes the waves are calling and you need your suit right away, for this we offer Aus Post express.

  • Standard Australia wide shipping - $10 flat rate (3-4 business days following postage) FREE when you spend over $100
  • Express Australia wide shipping - $15 flat rate (2 business days if order paced before 12pm)
  • Standard International shipping - flat rate of $20 (10+ business days following postage) FREE when you spend over $100

Please allow 1-3 business days for your order to be packed and shipped from HQ on Victoria’s Surf Coast. Once your order has been shipped you will receive a shipping confirmation email, including your tracking number.

Please note - Akua Oceanwear is not responsible for stolen or damaged packages in the post. If a customer error is made during the checkout process to the shipping address or a package is redirected to Akua HQ, Akua Oceanwear reserves the right to charge a reshipment fee of $10.00 for Australian orders and $20 for International orders.

EXHANGES

Akua Oceanwear understands the importance of that perfect surf fit, therefore we will happily exchange your purchase should the product be the incorrect size or contain a manufacturing fault. All exchanges must be lodged within 14 days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging, along with sanitary labels and with the tag attached.

We cannot offer refunds on any product, unless there is a manufacturing fault or we do not hold your required size / style in stock. We apologise for any inconvenience.

EXCHANGE PROCESS:

Please email zoe@akuaoceanwear.com with the subject ‘EXCHANGE’ with the completed exchange form attached (link attached blow). We will respond ASAP, notifying you as to whether we have your required item in stock. Should we not have your required size / item in stock we will exchange your item for another of the same price or greater (payment of difference is required).

Please send the unworn item, along with your name and order number. On receipt, your item will be inspected before an exchange is issued. Akua Oceanwear reserves the right to deny the exchange if the item has been worn or damaged. You will be notified by email when you exchange has been accepted and processed.

Depending on where you live, the exchange time may vary.

FAULTY ITEM EXCHANGE / REFUND : If you are returning the item/s due to receiving the wrong order or a faulty item, please notify us immediately by email zoe@akuaoceanwear.com  with subject “FAULTY ITEM” and attached exchange form (link attached below). We will respond ASAP, notifying you of whether we have your require product in stock. We will then send you the correct item on receipt of proof that you have sent back the wrong or faulty item. Akua Oceanwear take full responsibility for any faulty orders, so all faulty return postage to HQ will be absorbed by Akua Oceanwear.
